Music Magnet, Patience Namadingo, popular known as Dr Namadingo has asked Malawians to pray for him as he sees himself to become one of the world’s music icons from this land, adding that it comes with alot of wrongs and rights turns.
Writing on his Facebook Page, Dr Namadingo said to be on top is not easy, as it requires a lot of focus and determination.
Part of the statement reads: “I ask you Malawians to pray for me. It is not easy to be on top. It requires a lot of focus and determination. It requires discipline of the highest level there is.
“It demands more than one gave yesterday. Thou bitter, It calls for golden silence and acceptance for all the things you can not change.”
Dr Namadingo further said it will be a lie if he says he does not get tired and sometimes think of stop working or pushing further in his music career.
“I have felt the need to stop climbing. Stop thinking. Stop all this and just go back home satisfied that I came this far than those before me. Go home and watch a movie eat and sleep and not to think and worry about my job. Not wanting to beat another record, to master the art and put my name in the hall of fame. But everyday I read a comment from NAMAFANS it makes me go ahead and work more, ” Namadingo added.
At this point, he retailated the need for Malawians to pray for him. He says what he does is more than music but rather prepares him to be a global icon.
He said: “I ask you to pray for me. This is just more than being a Musician in Malawi. This is the making of a global icon. It comes with a lot of right and wrong turns. It also requires an installation of unwavering commitment to the calling of being the Best in your league.”
It is indeed therefore, undisputed facts that Dr Namadingo will be one of the global music icons from this country. As people have been witnessing him doing songs in variety of international
languages recent ones being a Shona song and a Portuguese song.
Namadingo announced that every month this year he will be releasing songs, sung in different International languages.
