Malawi veteran Musician, Giddes Chalamanda has failed keep a secret about his life on his chest but to tell his fans that he is leaving in a dilapidated house.
Together with his project director Charles Nkhanga, Giddes went to a local radio station, MIJ radio where he asked for a help from well wishers.
According to him, the house he is staying in is very old and properties get affected during rain season.
“My properties soaked during rain season. Apart from that, the house has many cracks and I am afraid that it may fall down any time,” he disclosed.
The Bafalo Soldier singer said he is asking for any kind of an help from well wishers.
“What I need is anything that can help to renovate my house. Whether it is money, bags of cement, iron sheets and timbers,” he disclosed.
He however denied comment on rumors that he was given 2 million kwacha cash from renowned gospel artist Patience Namadingo.
Chalamanda is 90 years old.
