Barely few days after releasing a hit titled “Ghetto yake iti”, Zomba based up and coming artist, Duckies Mw real name Dumisani Ngoma says he is recording an Extended Play (EP) to be dropped mid January.
The artist whose unique style of fusing dancehall and hip hop genres has made him a darling with many up and coming musicians locally and beyond the borders, he disclosed that the coming EP will carry hit songs which will be loved by many.
Speaking in an interview with FCM TV online, the artist said he wants to give Malawians inspiring dancehall and hip hop tunes.
“I have come to inspire Malawians with positive music through dancehall and hip-hop. I released one song “Ghetto yake it” just to give Malawians a taste of my music so am assuring everybody that they will enjoy the EP which is underway.
“I will be naming it in the next few days so that they should easily access it and I will start official promotion next week.” Said Duckies Mw.
According to the artist, music is the only platform for him to inspire Malawians and to remove stress amongst those worrying.
“People worry on a number of things but am here to entertain and remove such worries, as well despite this pandemic I will still record more music so that people should get entertained whislt in their homes,” he emphasized.
Duckies Mw said he will be selling his project through online and digital platforms and he has since promised his fans to expect more music videos, besides being the forthcoming EP.
“Am an up and coming artist but my fans should expect more music and videos from me and they should support so that the should enjoy my music all the times,” he said.
